He was always there. Right around the corner. They were just friends. At least that’s how it started out. If she’d know it’d end this way, maybe she would have listened to her head when it said. ‘’Don’t let this thing get too far!’’ And to her friends when they said ‘’Trust us, he’s not worth your tears.’’
Anyway, for anonymity.. Lets call the boy, Devil Spawn (DS) and the girl, Foolish Believer (FB).
So DS & FB attended the same secondary school for years. But they did not become friends till about 1.5 years to their graduation. During this period, FB had a huge crush on a… Certain Boy (we will call him CB- How creative am I? Hehe).
So, FB & CB were getting along pretty much. You know all those stolen moment in those times. The rush you get from it. As she said, he was probably her 1st love… Or shall we say 1st lust or biggest crush.. Who knows really?
She sometimes used to tell DS about it. But not too detailed. Just sketchy talk. Maybe this is when DS begun thinking he had feeling for her FB thinks. Or maybe it came later… She is not sure.
So, DS & FB were graduating from SS. Good times and all. Exams were over and everyone was super excited. Then they allowed them to go home! Everyone was thrilled. But FB wasn’t because CB was her junior in school (Yeah, I know right. But just by a year..lol), and she was uncertain of what would happen between them, but she kept these thoughts to herself.
One night, FB received a text from DS in the mid of the night. She was quite surprise & angry cause her sleep had been disturbed. (As if we care…). Then, according to her, she saw the most surprising and weird message there…. DS ‘claimed’ to have feeling for her in the message! She immediately replied asking him not to lie to her and shit like that. But he confirmed it and said he wasn’t joking. FB decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Despite all the warning bells in her mind.
This marks the beginning of all the troubles in FB life for the next 1.5 years of her young life.
More to come soon…. For now, I gotta go read & talk doem more with FB about this…. Life history story, and the evilness of the male species. :P
